Rock the House Ministries

the Story

I have been praying for some time for the God's plan and a ministry name to be obvious to me.  I was awakened around 3:am on a December night in 2023.   I figured that if I couldn't sleep, I would just do some of my year end cleanup of my computer file/folders.
I was working for at least an hour on moving files around, mostly my sermons. After all that, I had a coffee and sat in the living room enjoying the Christmas music on the radio. All of a sudden, I began thinking about unconventional ways to reach the lost (inside and outside of church walls). I began thinking about something I thought of many times prior how does one reach the lost, even the lost churchy people.
Then He sent it….        Wham!!!!         Rock the House.

ROCK

"And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock" (Matthew 7:25 ESV).
"He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he" (Deuteronomy32:4 KJV).
"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my  rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety" (Psalm 18:2 NLT).

Jesus is the ROCK of Salvation!                   Jesus is the Rock Ages, always was, always will be!

the

HOUSE

"One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple" (Psalm 27:4 NIV).
Hebrew bayith, Greek oikos "house," which means either the building or the persons occupying it. In Genesis 43:26 "home" and "into the house" represent the same phase, "to the house" (ha-bayethah). In Ruth 1:21, "hath brought me home again" means "has caused me to return."
A House is a dwelling place. We are dwelling places.  Let the Lord dwell in your House.
"But for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15 ESV).
